Courts Martial Appeals Amendment Act 2004

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1 Title
2 Commencement
  • This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

3 Constitution of Courts Martial Appeal Court
  • Section 3 of the principal Act is amended by adding the following subsection:

    • (4) Every person appointed under subsection (1)(b) has all the immunities of a Judge of the High Court for the purposes of carrying out his or her tasks and functions as a Judge of the Courts Martial Appeal Court.
