Acts are laws made by Parliament
The Council must consult the Council of the New Zealand Law Society—
(a) in prescribing under section 274(f) the mechanisms and criteria that will apply in relation to the admission as barristers and solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand of persons who are barristers or solicitors of the superior court of any country other than New Zealand; and
(b) in preparing the annual budget of the Council.
