Misuse of Drugs Amendment Act 2006

This Act is administered by the Ministry of Justice.

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1 Title
  • This Act is the Misuse of Drugs Amendment Act 2006.

2 Commencement
  • This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.

3 Principal Act amended
4 Enforcement of fines imposed in High Court
  • Section 43 is amended by adding, as subsection (2), the following subsection:

    • (2) In this section and section 46, Registrar

      • (a) means any Registrar of the High Court or of the District Court; and

      • (b) includes any Deputy Registrar.
