69 Offence to obstruct inspection

(1)

A person commits an offence if the person, without reasonable excuse,—

(a)

resists, obstructs, deceives, or attempts to deceive any person who is exercising or attempting to exercise any power or function under section 57; or

(b)

fails to comply in any respect with any requirement under section 57; or

(c)

gives to any person who is exercising or attempting to exercise any power or function under section 57 any particulars that are false or misleading in any material respect.

(2)

A person convicted of an offence under subsection (1) is liable to a fine not exceeding $10,000.
