The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
This Act is the Bail Amendment Act 2008.
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
This Act amends the Bail Act 2000.
(1) Section 8(1)(a) is amended by omitting “real and significant”
.
(2) Section 8(3) is repealed.
