(2) Sections 5, 6, 7(1), 8, 9, 15 to 17, 19, 25, and 27 to 29 come into force
on a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and
1 or more Orders in Council may be made appointing different dates
for different provisions.
(3) The rest of this Act comes into force on the day after
the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
Section 2(2): sections 5, 6, 7(1), 8, 9, 15 to 17, 19, 25, and 27 to 29 brought into force, on 1 February
2010, by the Building Amendment Act 2009 Commencement Order 2009 (SR 2009/407).
