The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
This Act is the Local Government Amendment Act 2009.
This Act comes into force on 1 December 2009.
This Act amends the Local Government Act 2002.
Section 216(b) is amended by adding “; or”
and also by adding the following subparagraph:
“(iii) is such that the court is satisfied that it may reasonably be regarded as intimidating.”
