The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
This Act is the Defence Amendment Act 2010.
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
This Act amends the Defence Act 1990.
Section 58(11) is amended by omitting “which for that purpose shall have all such powers as it has under that Act in respect of public money” and substituting “who for that purpose has all of the powers that he or she has under the Public Audit Act 2001 for the purposes of exercising or performing his or her functions, duties, or powers”.

Section 90 is amended by omitting “section 147(2) of that Act” and substituting “sections 71 to 74 of the Court Martial Act 2007”.
