4 Abandonment of application
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
This Act is the Trade Marks Amendment Act 2012.
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
This Act amends the Trade Marks Act 2002.
Section 44(1) is amended by omitting “the applicant has not responded” and substituting “the Commissioner does not receive a response from the applicant”.
