58 Parliamentary Counsel Office continues as separate statutory office

(1)

The Parliamentary Counsel Office continues as an instrument of the Crown and a separate statutory office under the Attorney-General’s control.

(2)

During any period when there is no Minister of the Crown who is Attorney-General, the Parliamentary Counsel Office is under the Prime Minister’s control.

(3)

Every reference to the Parliamentary Counsel Office in any enactment, agreement, deed, instrument, application, notice, or other document in force immediately before the commencement of this section must, on and after that commencement, be read as a reference to the Parliamentary Counsel Office as continued by this section, unless the context otherwise requires.
