Bills are proposed Acts
(1) Sections 4 to 15, 16, and 17 come into force on the earlier of the following:
(a) a date to be fixed by the Governor-General by Order in Council:
(b) 1 December 2009.
(1A) Sections 3A, 15A, 17A to 17E, 18(1), (4A), (16), and (17), and 21(1A) and (1B) come into force on 29 June 2009.
(2) The rest of this Act comes into force on a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council; and 1 or more Orders in Council may be made bringing different provisions into force on different dates.
