6 New section 50 substituted

• Section 50 is repealed and the following section substituted:

  “50 Power to arrest for breach of protection order

  • Where a protection order is in force, any constable may arrest, without warrant, any person whom who the constable has good cause to suspect has committed a breach of the order (other than a breach that constitutes an offence against section 49A).”
