7 Membership of Standards NZ's board

• (1) The board of Standards NZ consists of 6 members appointed by the Minister under section 28(1) of the Crown Entities Act 2004.

  (2) In appointing members of the board, the Minister must have regard to—

  • (a) their knowledge of and experience in management; and

  • (b) their knowledge of and experience in the development and use of standards.
