(1) This section amends the Immigration Act 2009.
(2) The following section is inserted after section 293:
“293A Immigration officer may apply for search warrantAn immigration officer may, in carrying out the immigration officer’s functions under this Act, apply for a search warrant under section 198 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957.”
