The following section is inserted after section 61:
“61A Search warrant“(1) For the purposes of section 95 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2009, the Registrar is a person authorised to apply for a search warrant.“(2) The Registrar may exercise the powers of a constable to apply for a search warrant under section 6 of the Search and Surveillance Act 2009 in relation to an offence under this Act.”
