These regulations are administered in the Internal Marketing Division of the Marketing Department.
PURSUANT to section 8 of the Finance Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following Order.
This Order may be cited as the Marketing Department Advances Order 1942.
The Marketing Department is hereby authorized to make advances by way of loan in respect of the goods described in the Schedule hereto being goods of a kind or class that the Department is for the time being authorized to purchase under the Marketing Act 1936.
The Schedule was amended, as of 11 August 1943, by clause 3 Marketing Department Advances Order 1942, Amendment No 1 (SR 1943/133), by adding the item “Eggs, egg-pulp, and egg-powder”.
