Coinage Proclamation 1947: revoked, on 12 May 2011, by clause 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Revocations) Order 2011 (SR 2011/99).
Changes authorised by section 17C of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989 have been made in this reprint.

These regulations are administered by the Treasury.
PURSUANT to section eight of the Coinage Act 1933, and for the purposes of determining the dimensions, the designs, and the denominations, weights, and composition of cupro-nickel coins to be made and issued under the said Act, and the amount of the remedy to be allowed in the making thereof, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as follows:—
