18 Smallpox vaccine
  • (1) In this regulation and in regulation 19 hereof the expression smallpox vaccine means a fluid or dried preparation of vaccinia virus grown in the skin of living animals or in the membranes of the chick embryo or in vitro cultures of suitable tissues.

    (2) Any person having smallpox vaccine in his possession for purposes of vaccination shall keep it continuously in cold storage at a temperature not exceeding 0ºc until it is required for use.
