21 Technique of vaccination
  • In performing the operation of smallpox vaccination the vaccinator shall carry out the vaccination in accordance with the techniques set out in the Department of Health pamphlet HQ 1, Immunisation Information for International Travel, published in the year 1970:

    Provided that the operation may be carried out in accordance with any other technique approved in writing for the time being by the Director-General.

    Regulation 21 was amended, as from 9 September 1971, by regulation 3 Health (Infectious and Notifiable Diseases) Regulations 1966, Amendment No 1 (SR 1971/183), by substituting the expression 1970 for the expression 1962.
