PURSUANT to section 9 of the Regulations Act 1936, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Defence Pay Notice 19681.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice revokes the Defence Pay Notice 1968, which was given under section 23B of the New Zealand Army Act 1950, section 13B of the Navy Act 1954, and section 23A of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950. Those sections were replaced in 1969, pay for the Armed Forces being now prescribed by the Secretary of Defence under the State Services Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act 1969.
