Pursuant to section 120 of the Customs Act 1966, as amended by section 5 of the Customs Acts Amendment Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

1 Title and commencement

(1)

This order may be cited as the Commonwealth Preference Countries Tariff Order 1974.

(2)

This order shall come into force on 1 July 1974.

2 Commonwealth preference countries

The countries set out in the Schedule are hereby declared to be Commonwealth preference countries for the purposes of the Customs Act 1966.

This order applies the Commonwealth preference countries Tariff to goods imported into New Zealand which are the produce or manufacture of the countries listed in the Schedule.
