Maori Affairs Amendment Act Commencement Order 1975: revoked, on 1 July 1993, pursuant to section 362(2) of the Te Ture Whenua Maori Land Act 1993 (1993 No 4).
This order is administered in the Maori and Island Affairs Department.
PURSUANT to sections 3 and 7 of the Maori Affairs Amendment Act 1974, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
2 Commencement of Parts 2 and 4 of Maori Affairs Amendment Act 1974
This order may be cited as the Maori Affairs Amendment Act Commencement Order 1975.
Parts 2 and 4 of the Maori Affairs Amendment Act 1974 shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1975.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force on 1 April 1975, Parts 2 and 4 of the Maori Affairs Amendment Act 1974.
Part 2 of that Act reconstitutes the Department of Maori Affairs.
Part 4 of that Act abolishes the Board of Maori Affairs and constitutes a new Board to be known as the Maori Land Board.
