8 Overtaking

  Subclause (1)(b)(ii) was amended, as from 20 January 1995, by regulation 5 Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No 27 (SR 1994/312) by inserting the word “; or”, and subclause (1)(b)(iii) was inserted by the same regulation.

  Subclause (2A) was inserted, as from 1 September 1997, by regulation 3 Traffic Amendment Regulations 1997 (SR 1997/143).

  Subclause (3)(a) was amended by regulation 3(1) Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No 4 (SR 1980/31) by substituting the word “passing” for the word “overtaking”.

  Subclause (3)(b) proviso was inserted by regulation 3(2) Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No 4 (SR 1980/31).

  Subclause (5) was substituted, as from 25 November 1996, by regulation 2 Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No 29 (SR 1996/338).

  Subclause (5A) was inserted, as from 25 November 1996, by regulation 2 Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No 29 (SR 1996/338).

  Part 2 (except regulation 29(2) to (4) and (7)) (comprising regulations 3A to 37A) was revoked, as from 27 February 2005, by regulation 5(a) Traffic Amendment Regulations (No 3) 2004 (SR 2004/444).
