Note

Pursuant to section 8 of the Anglican Church Trusts Act 1981, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice of the Minister of Justice given at the request of the General Synod of the Anglican Church, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

1 Short Title

  • This order may be cited as the Anglican Church Trust Boards Order 1982.

2 Authorised Trust Boards

  • Schedule 1 of the Anglican Church Trusts Act 1981 is hereby amended by adding the names of the following Trust Boards:

    “Te Pihopatanga O Aotearoa Trust Board.

    “The Social Service Council of the Diocese of Christchurch.”

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

The order declares the 2 named bodies to be authorised Trust Boards for the purposes of the Anglican Church Trusts Act 1981.
