PURSUANT to the Trustee Banks Act 1983, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title and commencement
  • (1) This order may be cited as the Trustee Banks Establishment Orders Amendment Order 1984.

    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1984.

2 Orders in Council establishing trustee banks amended
  • The Orders in Council specified in Schedule 1 to this order are hereby amended in the manner indicated in that Schedule.

3 Orders in Council revoked
  • The Orders in Council specified in Schedule 2 to this order are hereby revoked.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 April 1984, amends a number of orders relating to the establishment of certain trustee banks by omitting certain provisions. The provisions omitted have (as a result of the passing of the Trustee Banks Act 1983) become unnecessary or obsolete.


Issued under the authority of the Regulations Act 1936.
