Regulations are laws made under Acts
No commercial fisher shall use a drag net in the waters described in regulation 5(4)(e) of these regulations.
Regulations 5A and 5B were inserted by regulation 8 Fisheries (South-East Area Commercial Fishing) Regulations 1986, Amendment No 14 (SR 1993/282).
Regulation 5A: amended, on 1 June 2009, by regulation 7 of the Fisheries (South-East Area Commercial Fishing) Amendment Regulations 2009 (SR 2009/103).
Regulation 5A was amended, as from 1 October 2001, by regulation 4 Fisheries (South-East Area Commercial Fishing) Amendment Regulations (No 3) 2001 (SR 2001/273) by substituting the words “commercial fisher”
for the words “commercial fisherman”
