Order

1 Title and commencement

(1)

This order may be cited as the State Sector Order 1990.

(2)

This order shall come into force on 1 July 1990.

2 Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs

Schedule 1 of the State Sector Act 1988 (as substituted by section 28(1) of the State Sector Amendment Act (No 2) 1989) is hereby amended by inserting, after the item relating to the National Provident Fund Department, the following item:

Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 1 July 1990, adds the name of the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs to Schedule 1 of the State Sector Act 1988. That schedule lists Departments of the Public Service.
