Conservation Law Reform Act Commencement Order (No 3) 1990


Note

This order is administered in the Department of Conservation.


PURSUANT to section 1(3) of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title
  • This order may be cited as the Conservation Law Reform Act Commencement Order (No 3) 1990.

2 Commencement of sections 36, 38, 41, 42, and 114 of Conservation Law Reform Act 1990

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force, on 19 July 1990, sections 36, 38, 41, 42, and 114 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990.

Section 36 abolishes various organisations, including the Nature Conservation Council and the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Board.

Section 38 is merely of a consequential nature.

Sections 41 and 42 effect repeals and revocations that are consequential upon section 36.

Section 114 abolishes National Parks and Reserves Boards.
