Official Information Order 1991

(SR 1991/130)

Catherine A Tizard, Governor-General

Order in Council

At Wellington this 15th day of July 1991

Present:
Her Excellency the Governor-General in Council

  • Official Information Order 1991: revoked, on 12 May 2011, by clause 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Revocations) Order 2011 (SR 2011/99).

Note

Changes authorised by section 17C of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989 have been made in this eprint.

A general outline of these changes is set out in the notes at the end of this eprint, together with other explanatory material about this eprint.

This order is administered by the Ministry of Justice.

Pursuant to section 49(1) of the Official Information Act 1982, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

Order

1 Title and commencement
  • (1) This order may be cited as the Official Information Order 1991.

    (2) This order shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

2 Schedule 1 of Official Information Act 1982 amended
  • Schedule 1 of the Official Information Act 1982 (as substituted by section 23(1) of the Official Information Amendment Act 1987) is hereby amended by omitting the item relating to the Hop Marketing Committee, and substituting in its appropriate alphabetical order the following item:

    New Zealand Hop Marketing Board.

Marie Shroff,
Clerk of the Executive Council.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, effects a consequential amendment to Schedule 1 to the Official Information Act 1982.

That schedule lists organisations (additional to those named in Part 1 or Part 2 of Schedule 1 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975) to which the Official Information Act 1982 applies.

Schedule 1 to the Official Information Act 1982 presently contains a reference to the Hop Marketing Committee. As from the commencement of this order, that body is to be known as the New Zealand Hop Marketing Board (by virtue of the Hop Marketing Regulations 1939, Amendment No 17) and Schedule 1 is amended to reflect this change.

Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.

Date of notification in Gazette: 18 July 1991.
