PURSUANT to section 13 of the Adult Adoption Information Act 1985, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.

1 Title and commencement
  • (1) These regulations may be cited as the Adult Adoption Information (Fees) Regulations 1991.

    (2) These regulations shall come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

2 Fees
  • (1) There shall be paid to the Registrar-General, for each matter specified in Part 1 of the Schedule to these regulations, the fee specified for it in the Part.

    (2) [Revoked]

    Regulation 2(2) was revoked by regulation 2(a) Adult Adoption Information (Fees) Regulations 1991, Amendment No 1 (SR 1993/182).

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force 28 days after notification in the Gazette, prescribe certain fees payable under the Adult Adoption Information Act 1985. The fees, payable to the Registrar-General and the Director-General of Social Welfare, are the same as those deemed by section 2(4) of the Adult Adoption Information Amendment Act 1991 to be prescribed.
