This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 June 1994, are made under Part 13 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, which provides for Maori incorporations. The regulations prescribe a standard form of constitution that is to be the constitution of every Maori incorporation.
The regulations replace the Maori Incorporations Regulations 1969.
