Regulations name: substituted, on 24 January 2009, by section 49(1) of the Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Amendment Act 2008 (2008 No 48).

These regulations are administered by the Department of Internal Affairs.
Pursuant to section 88(1)(a) of the Births, Deaths, and Marriages Registration Act 1995, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.
