The following provisions of the Fisheries Act 1996 come into force on 1 October 1997:
(a) Part 7 (comprising sections 114 to 123) and section 356 (which relate to dispute resolution):
(b) Sections 283 to 293 (which relate to the Catch History Review Committee):
(c) Sections 30 to 41, 44 to 49, 51 to 55, 363, and 364, and Part 9 of Schedule 12 (which relate to the allocation of quota for new quota management species).
