Part 2 Accreditation of persons

16 Interpretation

In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires,—

competent organisation means any of the following organisations:

(a)

Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Limited:

(b)

the Standards Association of New Zealand:

(c)

the Accreditation Council:

(d)

the Consumer Affairs division of the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment:

(e)

any other body or organisation that satisfies the Secretary that it is competent to assess quality management systems

quality management system means a system of operation for exercising or performing the powers, functions, and duties of an accredited person.
