Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Amendment Regulations 2000

PURSUANT to section 65 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 1992, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

  • These regulations come into force on 1 May 2000.

3 Schedule of forms amended
  • The forms in the Schedule of the principal regulations are amended in the manner indicated in the Schedule of these regulations.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 May 2000, amend the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Regulations 1993. These regulations make terminological changes to some of the forms in the Schedule of the principal regulations as a result of the 1998 amendment to the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act 1992.
