not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which takes
effect from 19 December 2001, is made under the Penal Institutions
Act 1954. It declares the land described in the Schedule to be
a Police jail, to be known as Cook Street (Auckland Central) Police
Jail. The land is at the corner of Cook Street and Vincent Street
in the City of Auckland. It is used for the purposes of, and has on
it 1 or more buildings known as, the Auckland Central Police Station.
This notice revokes and replaces
part of a previous notice that declared the Auckland Central Police
Station to be a Police jail.
