Accident Insurance (Insurer's Liability to Pay Cost of Treatment) Amendment Regulations 2002

Pursuant to section 324 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 1 July 2002.

3 Registered medical practitioners' costs
  • Regulation 10(2)(a)(i) of the principal regulations is amended by omitting the expression $32.50, and substituting the expression $35.00.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 July 2002, increase to $35 the rate for consultation with a registered medical practitioner by a claimant who is under 6 years old.
