Fisheries (Infringement Offences) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2002

These regulations are administered in the Ministry of Fisheries.


Pursuant to section 297 of the Fisheries Act 1996, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 31 August 2002, amend Schedule 1 of the Fisheries (Infringement Offences) Regulations 2001 by revoking the item that relates to the offence of taking or possessing 1 or more rock lobsters, but not more than 6 rock lobsters, in contravention of regulation 5A(1) of the Fisheries (Central Area Amateur Fishing Regulations) 1986.
