Fisheries (Infringement Offences) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2003


Note

These regulations are administered in the Ministry of Fisheries.


Pursuant to section 297 of the Fisheries Act 1996, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

3 Schedule 1 amended
  • (1) Schedule 1 of the principal regulations is amended by omitting, from the item relating to regulation 6C in the table that relates to the Fisheries (Auckland and Kermadec Areas Amateur Fishing) Regulations 1986 (SR 1986/222), the expression 6C, and substituting the words 6C (other than 6C(1)(iv)).

    (2) Schedule 1 of the principal regulations is amended by inserting, after the item relating to regulation 6E in the table that relates to the Fisheries (Auckland and Kermadec Areas Amateur Fishing) Regulations 1986 (SR 1986/222), the following item:

    (3) Schedule 1 of the principal regulations is amended by adding to the description of offences in the second column in the table that relates to the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001 (SR 2001/188) in the items relating to regulations 7(4) and 16(3) the words as required.
