Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
This order is the Motor Vehicle Sales Act Commencement Order 2003.
The Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003 (except sections 143 and 144) comes into force on 15 December 2003.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003 (except sections 143 and 144) into force on 15 December 2003. Sections 143 and 144 of that Act came into force on the day after the date on which the Act received the Royal assent.
