New Zealand Legislation: Regulations
Regulations are laws made under Acts
(1) This clause applies if a person is directing traffic with a hand-held stop sign in accordance with any enactment.
(2) A driver approaching a hand-held stop sign—
(a) must stop before reaching the sign; and
(b) must not proceed until the person holding the sign—
(i) displays a “go”
sign or a “slow”
sign towards the driver; or
(ii) stops displaying a sign towards the driver.
