Pursuant to section 199C of the Transport Act 1962, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1 Title
  • This order is called the Transport (Offence) Order 2004.

2 Commencement
  • This order comes into force on 24 December 2004.

3 Schedule 2A amended
  • Clause 2 of Schedule 2A of the Transport Act 1962 is amended by adding the following item:

    83AOperating vehicle without displaying current evidence of inspection or current certificate of loading

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order adds an offence to the list in Schedule 2A of the Transport Act 1962. Offences on the list can be enforced by parking wardens. The offence added is that of operating a vehicle without displaying current evidence of inspection or a current certificate of loading.

The order comes into force on 24 December 2004.
