Engineering Associates Fees Amendment Regulations 2006

  • Preamble

    At Wellington this 27th day of February 2006

Pursuant to section 35 of the Engineering Associates Act 1961, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 1 April 2006.

3 Schedule amended
  • The Schedule of the principal regulations is amended—

    • (a) by omitting the expression $50, and substituting the expression $100 ; and

    • (b) by omitting the expression $35, and substituting the expression $60 ; and

    • (c) by omitting the expression $3, and substituting the expression $10.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 April 2006, amend the fees payable under the Engineering Associates Act 1961. The new fees are

  • for an application for registration, $100. The fee was previously $50:

  • for annual registration, $60. The fee was previously $35. There is a discount after the first year of registration if the fee is paid before 1 July. This discount is increased from $3 to $10.
