Pursuant to section 59 of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council and on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries, makes the following order.

Order

1 Title
  • This order is the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement (Schedule 2) Order 2006.

2 Commencement
  • This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

3 Interpretation
4 Schedule 2 amended
  • Schedule 2 of the Act is amended by inserting, in the harbours listed for the Marlborough Sounds and in their appropriate alphabetical order, the harbours and harbour entrance points specified in the Schedule.

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, inserts descriptions of Admiralty Bay, Port Gore, and Port Underwood in Schedule 2 of the Maori Commercial Aquaculture Claims Settlement Act 2004.
