  • Preamble

    At Wellington this 28th day of August 2006

Pursuant to section 229 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Sale of Liquor Amendment Regulations 2006.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 10 October 2006.

3 Principal regulations amended
4 Schedule 1 amended
  • Schedule 1 is amended by revoking form 24A.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 10 October 2006, revoke the prescribed form of infringement notice in the Sale of Liquor Regulations 1990. In future a standard infringement notice prescribed in the Liquor Offences (Infringement Notice) Regulations 2006, will be used for infringement offences under both the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 and the Summary Offences Act 1981.
