Gambling (Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2006


These regulations are administered by the Department of Internal Affairs.

    At Wellington this 28th day of August 2006

Pursuant to section 360(c) of the Gambling Act 2003, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Gambling (Infringement Notices) Amendment Regulations 2006.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 10 October 2006.

4 Schedule amended
  • The section headed Service details in the reminder notice in Form 2 of the Schedule is amended—

    • (a) by inserting [To be provided for filing in Court] above Reminder notice served by [personal service/post]:; and

    • (b) by inserting At [insert full address at which reminder notice was served]: below Reminder notice served by [personal service/post]:.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations amend the reminder notice prescribed by the Gambling (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2004 to reflect changes (made by the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2006) to the summary procedure for infringement offences in section 21 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957.

These regulations come into force on 10 October 2006.
