Crown Entities (Financial Powers) Amendment Regulations 2006

  • Preamble

    At Wellington this 25th day of September 2006

Pursuant to section 173 of the Crown Entities Act 2004, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Crown Entities (Financial Powers) Amendment Regulations 2006.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

3 Principal regulations amended
4 Authority for district health boards to borrow
  • Regulation 13(1)(c) is amended by omitting all the text beginning with , provided that— and ending with 5 years.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette, amend the Crown Entities (Financial Powers) Regulations 2005 (the principal regulations).

The effect of the amendment made to the principal regulations is to remove some restrictions, relating to loan size and duration, on district health boards' borrowing from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority.
