Pursuant to section 30D of the State Sector Act 1988, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1 Title

This order is the State Sector (Employees of Boards of Waihopai School and Ruru Special School) Order 2006.

2 Commencement

This order comes into force on 6 October 2006.

3 Sections 30E and 30F of State Sector Act 1988 to apply to transfer of certain specialist and therapy functions from Board of Waihopai School and Ruru Special School to Ministry of Education

Sections 30E and 30F of the State Sector Act 1988 apply to—

(a)

the transfer from the board of Waihopai School to the Ministry of Education of the function of delivering specialist and therapy services for education centres, and primary, composite, and secondary schools, in the Ministry’s Southland special education district; and

(b)

the transfer from the board of Ruru Special School to the Ministry of Education of the function of delivering specialist and therapy services for education centres, and primary, composite, and secondary schools, in the Ministry’s Southland special education district.
