Land Transport (Offences and Penalties) Amendment Regulations 2006

  • Preamble

    At Wellington this 2nd day of October 2006

Pursuant to section 167 of the Land Transport Act 1998, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Land Transport (Offences and Penalties) Amendment Regulations 2006.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force on 2 November 2006.

3 Principal regulations amended
4 Schedule 1 amended
  • Schedule 1 is amended by inserting the heading and items set out in the Schedule to these regulations above the heading Vehicle Lighting 2004 (32005):.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 2 November 2006, amend the Land Transport (Offences and Penalties) Regulations 1999. The amendments set out the penalties for certain offences under the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Exhaust Emissions 2006 (33001/1).
