Resource Management (Forms, Fees, and Procedure) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2006

These regulations are administered by the Ministry for the Environment.


Pursuant to section 360(1) of the Resource Management Act 1991, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

1 Title
  • These regulations are the Resource Management (Forms, Fees, and Procedure) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2006.

2 Commencement
  • These regulations come into force 28 days after the date of their notification in the Gazette.

3 Principal regulations amended
4 Regulation 10 amended
  • (1) Regulation 10(2) is amended by adding the following paragraph:

    • (i) Transpower New Zealand, if the application or review may affect the national grid.

    (2) Regulation 10 is amended by adding the following subclause:

    • (4) For the purposes of subclause (2)(i), national grid has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Electricity Act 1992.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force 28 days after the date of their notification in the Gazette, amend the Resource Management (Forms, Fees, and Procedure) Regulations 2003.

Regulation 10 is amended by—

  • inserting new subclause (2)(i) to provide that a consent authority must serve a notice required under regulation 10(1) on Transpower New Zealand if certain applications or reviews may affect the national grid:

  • adding new subclause (4) to provide that the term national grid in new subclause (2)(i) has the same meaning as given in section 2 of the Electricity Act 1992.
